Authorize a company WhatsApp group
Finny answers in the team's WhatsApp group with one company's data, without being able to change anything.
Before you start
- Your WhatsApp is linked, see the tutorial Connect WhatsApp to Finny.
- Access to manage company features in that company.
- Finny is already added to the group.
Steps
Step 1: Read the group instructions
On the Connect WhatsApp to Finny page, the After Finny confirms the DM link card shows the command to send in the group.

Step 2: Send the command in the group
In the WhatsApp group, send @Finny connect this group to followed by your company's display name and finday MCP. The page's example uses a sample company name, so replace it with yours.

Step 3: Confirm in the private chat
Finny gives an FC confirmation code. Send that code to Finny in your private chat within 10 minutes. The group is then connected to that company.

When you are done
- The group is pinned to one company and read-only. Approvals and other actions can't be done from the group.
- Each group member also has to link their WhatsApp and be a member of that company for Finny to answer them.
Common problems
Finny lists several company names
The name sent doesn't exactly match the company's display name. Pick the right company from Finny's list.
The FC confirmation code is not accepted
An FC code is valid for 10 minutes and must be sent by the same person, in a private chat with Finny. Start again if it has expired.
