Deliver the order
The goods sent to your customer are recorded against their order, in full or in part.
Before you start
- A sales order with the status Open or Partially delivered.
- Access to deliver sales goods.
Steps
Step 1: Click Create delivery
Open the sales order, then click Create delivery in the bottom bar. The Sales delivery form opens.

Step 2: Fill in the date and quantities
Fill in the Delivery date and Delivered to. On each line, enter Ship now for what is sent. The warehouse follows the order.

Step 3: Click Create delivery
Finday saves the delivery and returns to the order with its updated status.

When you are done
- The delivery gets a DLV number and the status Uninvoiced.
- The order becomes Partially delivered, or Completed once everything has been delivered.
- You create the sales invoice from this delivery.
Common problems
The goods go out in two shipments
Record one delivery per shipment. Ship now is capped at the quantity still to deliver.
