When you are done

  • Warehouse stock goes up for a customer return, or down for a return to a vendor.
  • A goods return makes no journal. Create a Sales Credit Note or Purchase Debit Note separately for its value.

Common problems

A message asks for a clear return reason

The reason needs at least 3 characters, for example defective goods or wrong item.

A message says the goods return could not be saved

Check the return date, which can't be in the future, the warehouse, and each line's product and quantity.
