Record the Coretax result and correct an export

Each file's Coretax status is recorded in Finday, and changed invoices are re-exported with a correction trail.

4 stepsUpdated

Before you start

  • An XML file that was generated and uploaded to Coretax.
  • Tax export access.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open the run

For Output VAT, open the Export History tab with the same year and month. For BPPU, use Recent BPPU runs in the WHT BPPU Export tab.

  2. Step 2: Record that the file was submitted

In the Coretax result column, choose Submitted in Select result. Fill in the Monitoring note / receipt if you have one, then click Record.

  3. Step 3: Record Coretax's answer

Once Coretax answers, record Accepted or Rejected the same way.

  4. Step 4: Re-export a corrected invoice

In the Output VAT Export tab, tick Show already exported invoices and turn on Correction re-export. Enter a correction reason of at least 10 characters, tick the changed invoice, then click Generate XML.

When you are done

  • Export History shows each run's Coretax result: Generated, Submitted, then Accepted or Rejected.
  • Finday doesn't record the tax return, NTPN or tax payment. Keep the Coretax receipt in the monitoring note.

Common problems

The correction re-export is refused

A correction can only be made while the earlier run is Generated or Rejected. If it is Submitted, record its result from Coretax first.

BPPU runs are not in Export History

Export History only lists Output VAT runs. BPPU runs are recorded in the WHT BPPU Export tab, under Recent BPPU runs.
